Fannie Frank gets a fresh coating of whitewash

After infusing actual value into otherwise value-less banker-gambling debts (nominally valued at over a QUADRILLION, i.e. BILLION MILLION, dollars), by shelling out amounts thousands of times greater than the $165 million in bonuses supposedly paid to AIG executives, are we to believe that Congress really gives a rodent's behind that a measly $165 million which they intended for one rat hole is going down another? I suspect that the whole affair is intended to give the impression that Congress isn't a gathering of British toadies in suits, and that it's being positioned to defend another "necessary" bailout-installment - you know, another one that LaRouche said is inevitable unless his plan is implemented.
