Oh no - more "dangerous times"
"We're a nation at war." "We live in dangerous times." Pres. Obama's speech to the CIA's intelligence-agency division sounded like he's getting his scripts from a kinder, gentler version of the neo-con speech-mill where Bush got his. Well, it seems to me that if we live in dangerous times, in which other people so far have been the ones bearing the brunt to the danger, it's largely due to our economic policies, and otherwise due to the fact that the CIA's dark side is on the warpath against mankind in the name of stopping terrorism. Note that our hospital infrastructure is being allowed to disappear (perhaps symbolized by the end of the TV series E-R) although we are supposedly deathly afraid of an attack by WMD-wielding terrorists.
