Obama: Perception vs. reality (revised)

In a statement, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) said that "the White House may view this oil spill as an opportunity to push its agenda in Washington, but Americans are more concerned about what it plans to do to solve the crisis at hand."
Although his statement was not as specific as some environmentalists might have wanted — he did not even mention global warming — Republicans viewed it as an effort to promote his proposal to tax companies for their carbon emissions.
Every word that comes from Hitler's mouth is a lie. When he says peace, he means war, and when he blasphemously uses the name of the Almighty, he means the power of evil, the fallen angel, Satan. His mouth is the foul-smelling maw of Hell, and his might is at bottom accursed.

Obama exposes himself again: that one purpose of the deliberate destruction of the Gulf was to get our permission to pile another burden on the economy, besides the burden and outright destruction caused directly by BP's deep-sea gusher. (Note that there's far less talk of "global warming" this year. Was the gusher intended to replace it as the impetus for the British energy agenda?) Meanwhile, all he's concerned about is managing our perception and maintaining his poll numbers so he can lull us to sleep and continue to destroy the U.S. for Queen and Empire.
