Aafia Siddiqu sentenced to 86 years

The instant I saw how prisoners were being transported to Guantanamo, I knew that the claim that they were the "worst of the worst" was a lie, and that they were being transported in such a bizarre manner partly to convince us that they were the most dangerous people in the world, and partly to make them suffer.

It appears to me that Aafia Siddiqui's treatment is another example of this same process of manufacturing the "terrorists" they need to justify their global "war on terror," which is in fact a reign of terror, even while they turn a blind eye to the opium in Afghanistan which the Taliban use to finance some of their operations, and while our British "allies" in the "war on terror" reportedly transport Taliban operatives around Afghanistan in helicopters.

While some might condemn Judge Berman for imposing an 86-year sentence, I don't consider myself qualified to criticize him. Only time will tell what he intended to accomplish.
