Breathtaking duplicity from Obama

Obama's own lack of commitment in stemming the gun traffic along the Southwest border where an estimated 65,000 battlefield weapons have made their way south into the hands of murderous drug cartels is embarrassing....

Even a reasonable effort proposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and approved by the Justice Department to track multiple sales of these assault rifles has been delayed at least twice by the White House.

The author attributes Obama's foot-dragging to fear of "the gun lobby," which he also blames for lack of cooperation on more restrictive gun laws in the wake of the Tucson shootings by that crazy robot Loughner. (The more I learn about this, the more it appears that the Sheriff's department was part of black op to deal a political death blow to Palin, Obama's likely rival, at the beginning of the political season, which was LaRouche's initial impression. That would explain some of the "evidence" supposedly found in Loughner's home. More gun laws wouldn't have helped. I think that qualified individuals should be encouraged to carry concealed guns.) However, it appears to me that Obama is acting to protect the interests of Chaos, Unltd., not the gun lobby. He's not President at this time for nothing.
