Was Japan's nuclear-power-plant crisis rigged to scare us?

I don't think it's possible to overestimate what the enemies of nuclear power will do in order to "prove" that it's dangerous. Although it's possible that the failures which have led to potential meltdowns of certain reactors in Japan were the result of the quake's unprecedented intensity, another possibility to consider is that the plants' supposed problems are being orchestrated by the British oligarchy, in order to scare us away from nuclear power. What better opportunity could there be?

I also half-expect the Japanaese government to announce that it's decided to leave the recovery up to the "free market," just as Bush and Cheney did in that shining example of "free market efficiency," the "recovery" from Katrina. Oh, and let's not forget the psychiatrists passing out "anti-depressants" like candy.
