Our government is insane, at best

Once definition of insanity is "continuing to do the same thing while expecting a different result." By this definition, our government is insane, or evil and just pretending to expect a different result. In fact, it's the latter.

The fact is that we're in this mess is because we're doing things we shouldn't be doing, such as waging Satanism on the other side of the planet in the name of national security, and paying off bankers' gambling debts to the tune of tens of trillions of dollars. Some of this money is being invested in basic commodities, which is driving up the prices of everything. If it were being invested in the sorts of things that PRODUCE more of these basic commodities, prices would tend to stabilize or decrease, and that's the idea behind the American System.

On top of that, we're not doing things we should be doing, such as replacing our rotting infrastructure with modern infrastructure, i.e., the sorts of things that go into making production and distribution more efficient. All of the financial problems stem from these actions and inactions, but Congress isn't addressing that (although they give it lip service periodically to give the impression that they're doing something about it), but just deciding who's going to die first as this Titanic disappears below the waves. As usual, it's the "useless eaters."
