Financial, business motives possibly driving Iran-invasion threats

While publicly pressuring Israel to make deeper concessions to the Palestinians, President Obama has secretly authorized significant new aid to the Israeli military that includes the sale of 55 deep-penetrating bombs known as bunker busters, Newsweek has learned.

... both the chairman of the U.S. joint chiefs of staff, General Martin Dempsey, and British Foreign Secretary William Hague said an Israeli attack on Iran would have grave consequences for the entire region and urged Israel to give international sanctions against Tehran more time to work.

(AP)  WASHINGTON — Defending himself sharply against Republican attacks, President Barack Obama told a Jewish group Friday that his administration has done more than any other in support of Israel's security, and he declared his support for Israel to be "unshakable."

Both the US and "Israel" are essentially puppets of the British empire, and both will follow London's orders, despite the supposed personality conflicts between Obama, Sarkozy, and Netanyahu.  It's possible that Israel has been secretly ordered to attack Iran, and that Britain and the US are pretending to wish that it wouldn't in order to hide this relationship, only to be "forced" to defend Israel when Iran retaliates.  If we really wanted to prevent Israel from invading, would we give it bunker busters and tell the world that we're joined at the hip?

But then, perhaps we're just ratcheting up tensions to "explain" the rising gas prices, which are probably due to some combination of Bernanke's money-pumping, speculators, and the desire to sell more fuel-efficient cars so that Obama can tout the "recovery" in this election year. Furthermore, Tarpley has indicated that a "Wall Street Faction Seeks Closure of Hormuz to Stave Off Dollar Collapse."  So, I'm not going to make any near-term predictions, although LaRouche has indicated that London is desperate for war because its financial system won't last much longer.
