Signs of 8th Sphere agenda contained in "lucid dreaming" guidance

While trolling the internet for the latest on Jared Loughner's status, I ran across an article (here) which contains a link to a page on "lucid dreaming," which states the following, among other things:
This technique is by far more difficult and may take some time and patience. The goal of this is to stay conscious while your body falls asleep."

3. What you might see is random flashing and streaks of color. Look carefully at this blackness. This is all the beginning of your brain's imagery (Hypnologic imagery) [HALLUCINATIONS]. You need to watch this imagery but do not focus hard, your vision needs to be relaxed, your eyelids should gently be closed not forced shut. Some solid objects and scenes should appear. [In other words, hallucinations of physical reality, which seems unlikely.]

6. This stage either happens or it doesn’t. Dream images will start to form. You can GO WITH THESE IMAGES AND ENTER a Lucid Dream. This takes a lot of hard work but it is well worth the effort.  [In other words, you hallucinate an alternate reality, and magically go live in it.  Right. This reeks of the 8th Sphere agenda's goal of cultivating escapism.]
The only problem with this is that if you're conscious, you can't dream.  Dreaming occurs when the the higher levels of the soul are separated from the physical and etheric bodies, which prevents normal consciousness from occurring.  Clairvoyants, however, can be conscious of the SPIRITUAL world when their astral body is separated from the physical body, but this is NOT A DREAM.  Dreams are symbolic "movies" created by the etheric body, out of its perceptions of certain aspects of the spiritual world, and its dim form of "consciousness."  So, whatever "lucid dreaming" is, it's not dreaming.

As far as I can tell, the described state is a fantasy, which is the goal of the 8th Sphere agenda - to get people to escape into fantasies.  Note that it includes the statement "it either occurs or it doesn't."  The point is that it's impossible to prove that something doesn't exist, so they can simply make these claims and send people on wild goose chases and waste a lot of their time trying to achieve what is in fact a fantasy, while actually cultivating a tendency to flee from Satan's soul-crushing world order into fantasies.

Another possibility is that it's intended to render them susceptible to the belief that the world is theirs to control  however they see fit, by virtue of being their dream, and ultimately to fleeting possession by the Spirits of Darkness, who are always on the lookout for useful, weak-minded suckers to use as puppets.  Jared Loughner's fixation on Giffords, which ultimately translated into the deaths and maiming of an entire crowd of people who had nothing to do with his insane grudge, has all the signs of being a case of the Spirits of Darkness "egging" him on to the point of getting into position to assassinate her, and then impelling him to launch into mass murder.  But we'll never know.
