Based on what I've read or heard about this disaster, it's beginning to appear to me that the president's characterization of the disaster was accurate, although there were many more besides the crew involved, and that now the high-level conspirators are scrambling to cover their butts.
Not only that, but the ferry disaster coverage itself strikes me as a cover-up. Clearly the ferry was top-heavy, the dangers of which by now should be well known. On top of that, I read or heard that, at the last minute, the students were transferred to this top-heavy ship, which was supposed to be carrying freight only, but I haven't been able to find any further information on this aspect.
